bernette 48 FUNLOCK
The bernette 48 FUNLOCK is the top model of the FUNLOCK series and is a combination of an overlocker and a coverstitch machine. Colour-coded thread paths make threading easier and in the needle area, a manual threader helps to threading the needles. The knife drive is from below, so the stitch widths can be easily adjusted. The bright LED light provides good visibility. The bernette B44 FUNLOCK is quick, sewing up to 1300 stitches per minute.
Beautiful overlock & coverlock seams
It has a total of 23 stitches: 15 overlock stitches, 3 coverstitches, 4 combo stitches and 1 chain stitch, overlock stitches with a stitch width of up to 7 mm, coverstitches with stitch widths of 2.8 or 5.6 mm and combo stitches with a stitch width of up to 10 mm.
Threading made simple
The color-coded, open thread path makes the bernette Funlock 48 easy to thread by following the colored markings. A separate needle threader and lower looper threading mechanism also make threading easier.
Large working area for large sewing projects
With its 87 mm working area, the bernette 48 FUNLOCK provides plenty of space for larger sewing projects. Another highlight is the bright LED light, which ensures that the area underneath the needle is always well-lit.

What is the differential feed for?
The differential feed always ensures smooth seams with knitted fabrics and crimp-free seams with fine fabrics. By adjusting the setting between 0.6 and 2, however, deliberate crimping can also be created, as for decorative ruffles
